The Sustainable Systems Research Foundation is developing The Watsonville Basic Income Pilot Project, which will take revenues from the sale of solar electricity to a local business and distribute them to selected farmworker households as basic income stipends. This innovative project is in the planning stages and will be discussed on the radio on Sunday Sept 19 at 5pm (PDT) on KSQD Community Radio, 97.5 FM in Santa Cruz.
